The Wedding of David and Lisa Campbell
Celebrated entertainer David Campbell and British actress Lisa Hewitt's dream
for a wedding that evoked the style of '30s and '40s and was reminiscent of
their romantic proposal in Paris, came to life on a Spring day in November.
A traditional Church Wedding at historic St. Phillip's on Church Hill, was
followed by a sumptuous wedding reception at Doltone House Pyrmont.
Elegant gold fringed velvet drapes, a classic black and white dance floor,
gleaming silver 3 tier candelabras and brilliant crystal chandeliers, set the
scene for this romantic Parisian celebration.
Their wedding also reflected their fun personalities in elements such as their
personalised Candy Bar, fun Photo Booth and Angry Anderson's rendition of
"Suddenly" - for their Bridal Waltz. They also remembered loved ones in a photo
wall and lounge that showed photos of their childhood and the important people
in their lives. It was an incredibly elegant wedding, filled with laughter and
love.
Daniel Jones (ex Savage Garden) & Kathleen De Leon (ex Hi-5)
A celebrity wedding is no different from any other wedding, the couple have the
same dreams and hopes for their special day and the beautiful personalised
touches of this wedding made it a visually enchanting day. As Kathleen and
Daniel's wedding coordinators, we worked closely with them to make every detail
of their dream a reality.
Kathleen arrived in a romantic Elizabethan Coach pulled by 2 gleaming white
horses, it was always a dream for her to arrive at her wedding in a horse and
carriage.
The Groom's party arrived in exciting style - by helicopter!! - landing in the
parklands adjacent to the beautiful Avica chapel. After the ceremony, guests
strolled through the beautiful manicured gardens of the resort arriving at the
silk lined marquee on the banks of a shimmering lake.
The marquee was lit romantically in soft pinks and twilight blues and as the
night darkened these ambient colours were mirrored on the lake.
A fireworks spectacular featured during cake cutting and the band had all
dancing till the very end.
Desiree & Bruce Rayner
A hot Summer's day in January was the setting for the wedding of Desiree Roberts
and Bruce Rayner at the spectacular cliff top venue Jonah's at Whale Beach. A
loving and intimate wedding ceremony facing the Pacific Ocean was followed by a
chic dinner party celebration.
The terrace area was adorned with hanging crystals, glass vials filled with soft
white blooms, and antique white birdcages with candles illuminated the lounge
area from dusk. The dinner tables were set with silver lace, crystal
candlesticks and Egyptian crystal vases filled with white roses and lisianthus.
Silver vintage votives cast a soft glow throughout and a very fashionable cigar
bar was set on the terrace whilst their personalised Candy Bar satisfied those
that preferred a sweet treat. Guests danced till past midnight and many stayed
over in the luxurious accommodation and enjoyed a brunch with the couple the
following day.
Nicola & Craig
Nicola and Craig's celebration spanned 3 days of events. All guests arrived in
Sydney the day before the wedding and they were escorted by luxury coaches to
their 5 star hotel with a designated express check in, and then enjoyed a
welcome cocktail party in the lobby. All guests were picked up by chauffeured
black limos and transported to St. Mark's Church at Darling Point for Nicola and
Craig's traditional Wedding Ceremony.
All guests were then transported to the multi award winning Quay Restaurant in
Circular Quay which enjoys unparalleled views of Sydney Harbour and the Opera
House. Guests were welcomed with cocktails and enjoyed the panoramic views
whilst being entertained by John Wotson, "piano man" playing on a gleaming black
baby grand brought into the venue specifically for the wedding. A jazz band
continued the entertainment through the evening.
A black and white ultra elegant theme reflecting the couples' eclectic taste was
featured in the black tiffany chairs, white satin sashes bound with crystal
buckles and the tall towering glass arrangements filled with tulips, hyacinths
and roses. Guests partied till well after midnight and then enjoyed a brunch the
following day prior to being transferred by coach to the airport for their
flights home.
Pauline & Lanny Lim
Pauline and Lanny wished for a wedding with an enchanted garden feel, with a
ceremony in the historic and exquisite gardens of Vaucluse House. They exchanged
vows under a romantic floral arch on a picture perfect Spring day in September.
Pretty white birdcages adorned with flowers, and individual blooms were hung
with satin ribbons from the trees and baskets filled with sweet treats were
handed to guests at the conclusion of the ceremony.
In contrast to their dreamy garden ceremony, Pauline and Lanny's lunch reception
reflected a stylish chic city style where Spring was celebrated metaphorically
in their table centrepieces which were white luscious rose domes on bare winter
branches embellished with crystal drops within a base of spring blooms.
A traditional tea ceremony was celebrated with close family and then guests
enjoyed a leisurely luncheon taking in the breathtaking view from the terrace of
Quay Restaurant. The lace from Pauline's wedding dress graced the elegant
wedding cake and guests were given gleaming silver photo frames as a memento of
the day.
